When we’re congested, the first thing we do is reach for the kettle. But instead of filling up a teapot and steeping a cup, we’ve got another great way to get relief from your favourite cuppa. Full steam ahead!
- Cold 911 tea
- Hot water
- Large Heatproof Bowl
- Perfect Spoon
2) Boil your water and fill the heatproof bowl halfway full.
3) Close your eyes and, keeping a safe distance, lean over the bowl. Then, inhale deeply through your nose and breathe in the steam. But be careful… the water and steam will be hot!
4) If you’re up to it, grab a towel and drape it from the back of your head, so that the towel hangs over both sides of the bowl. This acts as a tent, keeping the steam in while you inhale.
Remember: the water will be hot, so be careful! And if the steam gets too intense or if you feel uncomfortable, step away from the bowl or lift the towel to give yourself some air.
