The perfect Maple Manhattan with a twist

Some people say you shouldn’t mess with a classic, but have you seen what we’ve done with tea? We don’t just mess with classics – we give them the cool cousin they’ve always wanted. Think Cream of Earl Grey and Green Passionfruit, just to name a couple.

This time, we’re working our magic on the Classic Manhattan by giving it a fun fall twist. All you need is bourbon, bitters and our Maple Chai tea. Turns out, the oaky flavour of bourbon is the perfect complement to the spices in our chai.

Did someone say boozy chai tea? Grab those whiskey glasses and let’s get to it.

Chai Old Fashioned


  • 2 Perfect Spoons of Maple Chai
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 oz bourbon
  • 1 dash bitters
  • Orange rind
  • Ice
  • ½ tsp maple syrup (optional)


Step 1
In a Steeper, steep 2 Perfect Spoons of Maple Chai in ½ cup of water for 5 min. Next, dispense into a measuring cup and let cool to room temp.
Step 2
In an old fashioned glass, add 2 oz of tea, 1 oz of bourbon, bitters and optional maple syrup. Stir until combined.
Step 3
Finally, add ice and garnish with orange rind.
