Mais le clou du spectacle\u00a0? L\u2019ananas. C\u2019est donc le temps de faire plus ample connaissance avec ce soi-disant roi des fruits.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Aime voyager<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>L\u2019histoire de l\u2019ananas est parsem\u00e9e de voyages et d\u2019aventures. Bien que ce fruit proviendrait des environs du Br\u00e9sil et du Paraguay, il a graduellement conquis l\u2019Am\u00e9rique du Sud, l\u2019Am\u00e9rique centrale, et finalement les Cara\u00efbes, o\u00f9 Christophe Colomb en fit la connaissance. Colomb ramena ensuite le fruit en Europe, o\u00f9 il acquit une grande popularit\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s des plus fortun\u00e9s. Il devint populaire aupr\u00e8s du gratin comme d\u00e9coration de table, et des si\u00e8cles plus tard, il est devenu une garniture de pizza qui ne fait pas l\u2019unanimit\u00e9. Aujourd\u2019hui, les ananas sont cultiv\u00e9s aux quatre coins de la plan\u00e8te, et repr\u00e9sentent des exportations annuelles de millions de tonnes m\u00e9triques. Tout un p\u00e9riple pour ce fruit riche en go\u00fbt \u2013 et en histoire\u00a0! Pas \u00e9tonnant que le mot ananas provienne du tupi-guarani \u00ab\u00a0nan\u00e1 nan\u00e1\u00a0\u00bb, que l\u2019on pourrait traduire par \u00ab\u00a0parfum des parfums\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>M\u00fbr \u00e0 souhait<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Que ce soit \u00e0 la fruiterie du coin ou au supermarch\u00e9, on dirait que les ananas sont toujours de saison. Ce qui rend difficile \u00e0 croire que \u00e7a prend trois ans \u00e0 un plant pour arriver \u00e0 maturit\u00e9. Et l\u2019ananas doit \u00eatre cueilli exactement au bon moment, car une fois hors du sol, il ne m\u00fbrit plus.
