After the success of our first ME to WE initiative in Kenya,\nwe\u2019re so excited to take this rewarding partnership another big step forward.\nChocuador is our third special edition tea, created with the purpose of bringing\nclean water to communities in Ecuador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a limited time, every 50 g purchase of this new tea, or any of our three ME to WE teas, will help provide 2 weeks of clean water to a person in a developing community in one of our partnering countries, i<\/a>ncluding Ecuador.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For starters, water is the foundation all communities around\nthe world need to live. Not only essential for drinking, clean water access\nalso reduces illness, helps girls go to school instead of spending hours\ncollecting and carrying water and leads to better agriculture and food access\nfor the entire community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ecuador straddles the equator on South America\u2019s west coast\nand encompasses the natural wonder that is the Amazon forest. The province of\nChimborazo in central Ecuador as well as the Amazon region are home to large\nnumbers of indigenous communities who suffer from some of the highest rates of\npoverty in the country. Water service\nis frequently disrupted and water often isn\u2019t drinkable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expansion of\nour partnership with ME to WE<\/a> will help provide much-needed hand-washing stations, toilets, clean water\nsystems, and water and sanitation education in Ecuador \u2013 all basic services we\ntake for granted in North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
