The secret to a killer tea cocktail

Making cocktails is a lot like cooking – it’s all about balancing flavours. With over 100 teas to choose from, we’ve got the perfect blend to pair with any of your liquor cabinet staples. Get ready to start dancing on tables in 3… 2… 1…

Pro tip: when you’re preparing tea for a cocktail, be sure to brew it strong by adding extra tea for the amount of water. It needs strength to stand up to the alcohol.

Let’s get mixing!

White Rum

White rum pairs best with tropical and citrus flavours. Keep it fun and refreshing! Think mango shakes and piña coladas.

We recommend: Mango Madness, Caribbean Crush and Pura Vida.

Spiced Rum

Spiced rum complements chocolaty and spicy teas. Use a shot to upgrade that rich and fiery chai latte!

We recommend: Saigon Chai, Cinnamon Rooibos Chai, Spiced Apple and The Spice is Right.

Vodka

Vodka is a great base for lighter flavours, meaning it’ll pair perfectly with mild fruits and florals. Jasmine martini, anyone?

We recommend: Silk Dragon Jasmine, Green Passionfruit, Maracuja Mango and Organic Goji Green.

Gin

Gin has a strong kick to it, so start conservative. Stick to fruity flavours! Try it with a berry or citrus tea.

We recommend: Sweet Lime, Guava Cadabra and Electric Lemonade.

Bubbly

Champagne, Prosecco and sparkling wine add a palate-pleasing lightness and astringency to juicy sweet teas. Splash in some bubbly for a perfect brunch cocktail. Peach mimosas all around!

We recommend: Just Peachy, Sparkling Sangria, Honeycrisp Apple and Juicy Orange.
