Thai Style Iced Tea

With cinnamon and creamy condensed milk, this rich and refreshing iced tea is a one-way ticket to a bustling Thai market.

Ingredients

  • 4 Perfect Spoons of Organic David's Breakfast Blend
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 star anise
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • ⅛ tsp cinnamon powder
  • ¼ tsp vanilla
  • 4 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup evaporated milk
  • ice

Directions

Step 1
In a small pot combine 2 cups of water, star anise, cardamom, cinnamon and bring to a simmer over medium low heat for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Remove from heat and add loose leaf tea and vanilla. Let steep for a minimum of 15 minutes, then strain tea into a measuring cup.
Step 3
In a large glass add 2 tsp of condensed milk and 1 cup of steeped tea. Mix well.
Step 4
Add crushed iced and top each glass with evaporated milk. For a layered look: coat the glass with condensed milk, then carefully add ice and pour tea before topping with evaporated milk.
Step 5
Stir and enjoy!
