Tea Infused Mug Cake

Ingredients

  • 4 Perfect Spoonfuls The Spice is Right tea
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1½ tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp steeped tea
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 tbsp chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1
Brew tea in ½ cup of hot water for 5 minutes, then strain and discard tea leaves.
Step 2
In a microwavable mug mix flour, brown sugar, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder.
Step 3
Add milk, 1 tbsp of brewed tea, canola oil and chocolate chips and mix until combined.
Step 4
Microwave for 50 seconds and let cool before topping with whipped cream or powdered sugar.
