Mulled Wine Glazed Ham
Legend has it that the holiday ham started as a tribute to Freyr, the Norse god of prosperity. For us, it started one year when the store ran out of turkeys. Now, it’s an annual tradition, but no recipe has wowed us like this Mulled Wine glazed ham. Juicy and tender with just the right amount of sweetness, it’s a must for any Christmas feast.
Ingredients
- 2 Perfect Spoonfuls of Mulled Wine tea
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 cup honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp Dijon or other spicy mustard
- 1 pre-cooked ham (smoked ham works great)
Directions

Preheat oven to 260ºF. | |

Steep tea in 1/3 cup of hot water for 8 minutes and strain into a small saucepan. Add honey, cinnamon and mustard and bring to a slow boil, stirring constantly. | |

Poke small holes in the ham with a fork and pour the glaze over. | |
Step 4 | |
Cook the ham for about 20 minutes per pound, basting with glaze at least twice. |
