Mulled Tonic
When you combine your favourite fruity tea with warm mulling spices, you get a mulled wine with the perfect balance of tangy fruit and winter comfort.
Ingredients
- 7.5 teaspoons Redberry Tonic ((or your favourite fruity tea))
- 2.5 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 Large cinnamon stick (cut in half)
- 3 cloves
- 2oz rum
- orange slices
Directions
Step 1 | |
In a saucepan, combine 2 cups of water, cinnamon, cloves, and sugar. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes, then remove from heat. | |
Step 2 | |
Add Redberry Tonic to a DAVIDsTEA filter and place the filter in the saucepan. Steep for 6 minutes, then remove filter. | |
Step 3 | |
Ladle tea into cups, making sure to include a cinnamon piece in every cup. Add 1 oz of rum and a couple of orange slices to each cup. |
