Melon Drop Jelly-filled Melon
When ripe melon meets jiggly jelly, fun things happen. Meet the jelly-filled melon, a fruity treat infused with our refreshing Melon Drop tea that’s winning over snackers of all ages.
Ingredients
- 4 Perfect Spoonfuls of Melon Drop tea
- 3½ cups water
- 2½ packets of unflavored gelatin
- ½ cup melon liqueur (Midori)
- 2 tbs agave
- green food coloring (optional)
- 1 honeydew melon
Directions
Step 1 | |
Cut melon in half, scooping out seeds and part of the flesh until each half can hold about 2 cups of liquid. | |

Brew tea for 6 minutes, then strain and stir in agave and melon liqueur. Set aside. | |

In a large bowl, make the gelatin according to package directions. | |
Step 4 | |
Stir in tea mixture until gelatin is fully dissolved and add a few drops of green food coloring. | |
Step 5 | |
Pour about 2 cups of the mixture into each half of the melon. Cover and chill for 6 hours. | |
Step 6 | |
Once gelatin is set, carefully cut the slices and serve! |
