Cardamom French Toast Bread Pudding
Ingredients
- 2 Perfect Spoonfuls of Cardamom French Toast tea
- ½ cup hot water
- 1½ cups milk
- 1 tbs heavy cream
- 2 tbs butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp ground cardamom
- 2 eggs, beaten
- about 5 cups brioche or challah bread, sliced into 2 inch cubes (stale bread works best!)
Directions

| Preheat oven to 350 F. | |
| Step 2 | |
| Steep tea in ½ cup boiling water for 5 minutes, then strain into small saucepan set to medium heat. | |

| Add milk, cream, butter, sugar, salt and cardamom. Once the butter is melted, remove saucepan from the heat. | |

| Grease a baking dish and add cubed bread evenly. | |
| Step 5 | |
| Whisk eggs into milk mixture, being careful they don’t cook. Pour mixture over bread and bake for 30-45 minutes, or until custard is set but still wobbly. | |
