Blueberry Syrup
Who doesn’t love blueberries? They’re sweet, juicy and have a brilliant blue colour. Plus, they’re the perfect base for this delicious tea-infused syrup.
Ingredients
- 3 Perfect Spoonfuls of Berry White tea
- ½ cup hot water
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 tbs corn starch
- 2 cups blueberries
- Dash of salt
- 1 tbs lemon juice
Directions
Step 1 | |
Steep tea for 5 minutes then strain into saucepan. | |
Step 2 | |
Turn heat to medium and add sugar, corn starch, salt and blueberries. | |
Step 3 | |
Simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring often, until mixture has thickened enough to coat the back of a spoon. | |
Step 4 | |
Turn heat to low and add lemon juice. | |
Step 5 | |
Stir and let simmer for 3 minutes. | |
Step 6 | |
This syrup is best served over waffles, pancakes or French toast! |
