Matcha Smoothie Bowl Recipe

There are those mornings when you wake up ravenous for the biggest fry up your pan can fit, and others when you have a hankering for a lighter start to your day. When you’re in the mood for the latter, our Matcha Smoothie Bowl is nutritious, fruity and will have you bouncing out of your house with energy. 

All you need for this smoothie bowl is a banana, mango, your choice of matcha green tea and your favourite toppings. It takes virtually no time to prepare making it perfect for mornings when you’re running late. No colleague will judge you for eating this at your desk. In fact, it’s probably a good idea to bring seconds.

Matcha Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

Smoothie bowl

  • 2 Perfect Matcha Spoons of Matcha Matsu
  • ¼ cup warm water
  • 1 banana
  • 1 mango, chopped
  • ½ cup orange juice

Toppings

  • ½ banana
  • ¼ cup raspberries
  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

Directions

Step 1
In a small bowl, whisk 2 Perfect Matcha Spoons of Matcha Matsu with ¼ cup of warm (75°C/167°F) water.
Step 2
In a blender, add the banana, mango, orange juice and matcha. Blend until smooth.
Step 3
Pour into a bowl and have fun adding your toppings!
