There’s no denying turmeric tea lattes are having a serious moment. Scroll through your Instagram feed and you’re sure to fall on a pretty image of this vibrant drink topped with a little foam art and perhaps a cinnamon stick. But it’s more than just a feast for the eyes. Commonly known as “golden milk” or “moon milk,” this bright sunny drink is packed with all sorts of good stuff – from antioxidants to digestive and anti-inflammatory health benefits. And it’s all thanks to one ancient yellow spice: turmeric.
Ready to froth up a golden latte à la DAVIDsTEA? Break out your turmeric, put the kettle on and kick things up a notch with our caffeine-free Super Ginger tea. It’s sinfully rich and packed with all the warming flavours of ginger, cinnamon and earthy turmeric – perfect for morning relaxation or nighttime comfort. Best of all, it’ll give you that coveted summer glow, since turmeric is also hailed as an Ayurvedic skin-saver. Who can say no to that?
Here’s another thing you may not know about turmeric tea lattes – they taste amazing iced! And you can use almost any spicy tea you like. We especially love it with our marzipan-scented Alpine Punch tea. With a hint of nutty sweetness, it’ll make you feel great and keep you cool all season long.
