Healthy Energy Bars made with S’mores Chai tea

Whether you’re rushing the kids off to school, pumping iron at the gym or juggling back-to-back meetings, sometimes all you need is an energy bar to keep that motor running. That’s why we’re taking your snack time to new heights with this deliciously healthy energy bar recipe infused with our S’mores Chai tea – a tempting blend of pu’erh, marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers, with a comforting cinnamon twist.

Combined with simple, yet wholesome ingredients like dates, protein-rich almond butter, nutritious chia seeds and rich dark chocolate, these tea-infused granola bars are super quick to make and consistent enough to tie you over till your next meal. They’re packed with flavour: lightly sweet and nutty, with cozy hints of s’mores. Get ahead of your snack attack with these power bars. Easy to make and perfect for on the go.

  • 3 Perfect Spoons of S’mores Chai tea
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup dates, pits removed
  • 1 ¼ cup oats
  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ¼ cup almonds (or cashews)
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 oz dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • ¼ tsp salt


Step 1
Preheat over to 350°F.
Step 2
In a Steeper, add 3 Perfect Spoons of tea in ¼ cup of hot (95°C/200°F) water. Steep for 5 min then dispense into a measuring cup.
Step 3
On a large baking sheet, combine oats, pumpkin seeds and almonds. Bake at 350°F for 5-10 min or until golden and fragrant.
Step 4
In a food processor, add tea and dates and process until smooth.
Step 5
Transfer date paste into a bowl, then add oats, pumpkin seeds, almonds, almond butter, honey, dark chocolate, chia seeds and salt. Mix until combined.
Step 6
Line the bottom of 9x9” pan with parchment paper and pour mixture into the pan. With bottom of the measuring cup, press mixture to form an even layer.
Step 7
Want a chewy bar? Place in fridge for 4 hours. For a crunchier bar, place in oven at 200°F for 20 min.
