This drink not only tastes delicious, it’s super easy to make and will have you glowing in no time!  With creamy coconut milk, warming cardamom and a dash of cinnamon, this turmeric bevvie will quickly become your go-to.

You asked, and we listened. And since we love to make your tea dreams come true, we’re featuring this cozy & satisfying recipe with Organic Turmeric Chai tea. This vibrant rooibos blend is filled with tons of good stuff like sweet rooibos, ginger and turmeric (aka. radiance in a cup).

Turmeric has become super trendy in the past couple of years thanks to its warm, earthy flavour and wellness benefits. But this golden root has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries. Not only is this spicy root hailed for its health boosting benefits, it’s also super popular for its skin-saving qualities.

As they say, beauty starts from within and this golden milk latte recipe will have you glowing (and warm) from the inside out!

Golden Milk Latte

Serves 1
Cook time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 Perfect Spoonfuls of DAVIDsTEA Organic Turmeric Chai tea
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 cup near-boiling water
  • 2 cardamom pods, crushed
  • 1 tsp honey
  • turmeric powder
  • black pepper

Directions

Step 1
Simmer coconut milk, cardamom and a dash of turmeric over medium-low heat for 5 min.
Step 2
Meanwhile, steep tea in 1 cup of near-boiling water for 5 minutes, then strain into your favourite cup and discard the leaves.
Step 3
Stir in infused milk and honey (optional), then top with a dash of turmeric and black pepper.
