You want to host an amazing and memorable tea party for the kids, but you don’t know where to start. Don’t worry… it doesn’t need to be complicated. Whether you’re hosting a group of two or twenty, here’s everything you need to know to make it the best tea party ever!
Location, location, location
First things first: where will it be? If the sun is shining, the garden provides a fresh and vibrant setting for sipping iced tea. Rainy day? The dining room is a sophisticated scenario for steeping. Feeling playful? There’s nothing like a tea party in a pillow fort!
Pick and choose
What’s a tea party without choices? When you invite your guests, ask them what flavours they love most (berries, tropical fruits, lemonade, etc), and pick a few caffeine-free blends to match their choices. Not sure what to choose? Our tea guides will be happy to help you pick something out. Once you’ve got your teas, prep them in individual iced tea pitchers the night before the party, or use The Steeper to make fresh iced tea on the spot. And don’t forget to set your little guests up with pencils and paper so that they can take notes on their favourites.
Sweet talk
No tea party is complete without snacks. And for kids, nothing beats pastries. Try pairing Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait with fruit tarts, Crème Caramel Rooibos with alfajores, or Forever Nuts with apple strudel. For extra enjoyment effect, try serving your tea and treat pairings as different courses!
