Raspberry Jam Gin Fizz
Ingredients
- For the Raspberry Jam syrup:
- 1 cup water
- ¼ cup raspberry jam tea
- ¾ cup sugar
- Per cocktail:
- 8-10 frozen raspberries
- ½ oz raspberry jam syrup
- ½ oz lemon juice
- 1½ oz gin
- club soda/sparkling water
- ice
Directions
Step 1 | |
Brew tea for 10 minutes and strain into heatproof bowl. Mix in sugar until dissolved. Cover and chill. | |
Step 2 | |
In a cocktail shaker or glass, muddle raspberries, syrup, lemon juice and gin. Fill a 12 oz glass with ice and pour in mix. Top with soda or sparkling water. | |
Step 3 | |
Syrup recipe will yield about 24 cocktails total, and will keep in the fridge for about 2 weeks in a well-sealed jar. Can be used for other recipes, or even to top pancakes or waffles! |
