Apple Cider Punch

Apple Cider Punch

Ingredients

  • 2 Perfect Spoonfuls Spiced Apple tea
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 oz rum
  • ice
  • orange & lemon slices
  • thyme sprig

Directions

Step 1
Steep tea in hot water for 3 minutes, then strain into a measuring cup and discard leaves.
Step 2
In an ice-filled glass, combine 1 oz rum, 4 oz of steeped tea and orange and lemon slices. Stir.
Step 3
Garnish with a sprig of thyme. Bottoms up!

NYE Strawberry Champagne

NYE Strawberry Champagne

Ingredients

  • 2 Perfect Spoonfuls Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait tea
  • ½cup near-boiling water
  • 1 dash angostura bitters
  • champagne
  • cherry or strawberry

Directions

Step 1
Steep tea in near-boiling water for 5 minutes, then strain into a measuring cup and discard leaves.
Step 2
In a champagne flute, add 2 teaspoons of steeped tea and a dash of bitters.
Step 3
Top with champagne and decorate with a cherry or strawberry. Cheers!
Step 4
Pro Tip: For something more delicate, replace Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait with our fruity and floral Cherry Blossom white tea.

G&G Old Fashioned

G&G Old Fashioned

Ingredients

  • 2 Perfect Spoonfuls Glitter & Gold tea
  • 1 ¼ cup water
  • ¼cup sugar
  • 1 oz bourbon
  • ice
  • orange peel

Directions

Step 1
Steep tea in 1 cup of near-boiling water for 5 minutes, then strain into a measuring cup and discard leaves.
Step 2
Prepare a quick simple syrup by combining sugar and ¼ cup of water in a small pot. Simmer until dissolved, then remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
Step 3
In an old fashioned glass, add ice, simple syrup, bourbon, 2 oz of steeped tea and orange peel. Stir, sip and enjoy!

    I just received my new tea infuser and a set of 12 teas. How do I open the infuser, I am afraid of damaging the seal if I push or pull too hard. Also how much of the loose leaf tea should I use and how long should I steep it for? I know this varies for individual tastes, but what is a good starting point?
