ME to WE Kenya Ice Pop recipe

Looking for a jaw-droppingly refreshing treat? Packed with sweet cherries and a tangy pineapple puree, these ice pops are your new go-to for staying cool during summer’s sticky heatwaves. What’s more, they’re infused with our fruity ME to WE Kenya – an all-natural, caffeine-free blend of apple, pineapple, hibiscus and cranberries. Trust us, the kids will really lose it for this recipe (#parentoftheyear).

Not only do these cherry popsicles taste too good for words, they also actually DO good. Our ME to WE Kenya was created in partnership with the ME to WE social movement, which is why every 50 g purchase gives clean water to a developing community in Kenya. We’ll raise our ice pops to that!

ME to WE Kenya Ice Pop recipe

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 5 Perfect Spoonfuls of ME to WE Kenya
  • 1 ½ cups near-boiling water
  • 4 Perfect Spoonfuls of sugar
  • ½ cup of pineapple purée
  • 6 cherries, pitted and cut into quarters
  • ½ tsp of lemon juice

Directions

Step 1
Brew tea in near-boiling water for 5 minutes, then strain into a Steeper or measuring cup and discard tea leaves.
Step 2
Add 3 Perfect Spoonfuls of sugar and lemon juice to steeped tea and stir until dissolved. Pour mixture into ice pop molds halfway and freeze for 1 ½ hours (do not insert sticks just yet!).
Step 3
In a bowl, combine pineapple puree with remaining sugar and stir until dissolved.
Step 4
Remove ice pops from freezer (they should be slushy in consistency), add a spoonful of cherries to each mold and stir.Then carefully top molds with pineapple puree and insert sticks.
Step 5
Freeze until solid – at least 4 hours or overnight. Enjoy!
