Cinnamon Rooibos Chai Cocktail

Chai Cocktail (Cinnamon Rooibos Chai)

Ingredients

  • 1 Perfect Spoonful (2.5 tsp) of Cinnamon Rooibos Chai tea
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 oz maple syrup
  • strong cream liqueur (we like Amarula for this recipe)
  • spiced rum
  • ground nutmeg (optional)

Directions

Step 1
Steep tea in 1 cup boiling water for 5 minutes, then strain.
Step 2
Add maple syrup and stir until dissolved. Chill mixture in freezer for 10 minutes.
Step 3
In an ice filled cocktail shaker, add 4 oz cream liqueur, 2 oz spiced rum and chilled tea mixture. Shake for 15 seconds and strain into four rocks glasses. Garnish with a dash of nutmeg. Happy sipping!
