5 Relaxing Teas to Help you Unwind

Looking for a little rest and relaxation? There’s nothing like a nice cup of tea to help you unwind. Particularly, one of these five relaxing blends. Now… put the kettle on, kick back and steep your troubles away.

1) Seaberry Spa

Let’s face it, we all get stressed out sometimes. But everyone seems to have a different way of dealing with it. Some like to relax with a hot bath. Others go for aromatherapy. And if you’re anything like us, you reach for a soothing cup of tea. This spa-ready blend of fruity white tea, memory-boosting rosemary and skin-loving sea buckthorn berries is a little bit of all three.

What’s in it?

White tea, ginger, lemon balm, rosemary, raspberry leaves, sea buckthorn, chamomile, sandy everlasting flower.

2) Mother’s Little Helper (organic)

Need a little relaxation? Try running for the shelter of this mother’s little helper. It’s got organic valerian (aka “nature’s Valium”) to take the edge off your 24/7 reality. Plus there’s chamomile, peppermint and lemongrass for an added dose of tranquility. One sip and you’ll feel like you’ve spent the day at a spa.

What’s in it?

Peppermint, lemongrass, hibiscus, rosehips, chamomile, valerian root, cornflowers.

3) Serenity Now (organic)

So maybe you burned dinner. Maybe the dishwasher broke. Again. Maybe you just forgot to hit “save.” Life is full of stressful surprises. But lucky for us, life is also full of tea. And this oh-so-soothing blend is a guaranteed one-way ticket to your happy place.

What’s in it?

Currants, rosehips, lavender, spearmint, blueberries, quince, apple, hibiscus, rose petals, strawberries. With natural rose water and strawberry flavouring.

4) The Big Chill (organic)

What’s our most popular tea request? Something that will help you relax or get more sleep. And thanks to a shot of uber-calming valerian root, this sweet and minty caffeine-free blend is just about guaranteed to prepare you for dreamland.

What’s in it?

Apple, lemon balm, silver lime flowers, apple mint, mango, lemon myrtle, peppermint, apricot, valerian root, sunflower.

5) Organic Dream On

Getting enough sleep is the key to everything. You’ll have more energy. You’ll have more patience. Your jokes will be funnier. Everyone will love you. Which is where Dream On comes in. It has everything you need to drift off into dreamland – and stay there all night long.

What’s in it?

Lemongrass, chamomile, hibiscus, licorice root, lemon peel, orange peel, lemon myrtle, fennel seeds, rose petals.

How can I get a tea named after me?

Hmmmm, what if we bestowed you with the honorary title of “The Countess of Seville?”

These are great choices, however my favorite tea to relax with is actually a retired one: Yellow Dragon.

So delicious and helps with digestion, so perfect after a big meal.

I love to unwind with Mother’s Little Helper, Bavissimo or Serentity now but I love a good straight Chamomile with a splash of milk and honey.

I bought my Sweet Dreams Organic Tea Package for $3.00 at my local Davids Tea Store at Metrotown. Now I can sleep well at night.
